Placing “For Sale” Signs in Inverness

Like other covenant communities, Inverness has rules for placing signs at neighborhood entrances on Inverness Parkway. Signing is permitted from 4:00 PM on Fridays until 6:00 PM on Sundays. At 8:00 AM on Monday, crews will gather and dispose of any remaining signs. In addition, no signs may be placed on the side of the road of the neighborhood entry; rather they should be placed on the opposite side of the Parkway from the entry. The objective being to maintain beautiful neighborhood entries free of multiple signs to maintain the beauty and protect the irrigation and electrical systems.

In addition, individual neighborhoods have strict guidelines regarding signage. (These are also spelled out in neighborhood Covenants.)

Town of Adam Brown

21. ADVERTISING OR RESALE SIGNS. There shall be no advertising or resale signs posted on the premises which exceed the size 2 feet x 3 feet. No signs shall be permitted to be nailed or attached to any trees or shrubbery. Excepted from this contract are real estate companies or agents handling the original sale of any dwelling unit, after initial construction, and construction crews or construction subcontractors participating in original construction of dwellings.

Country Club Village

4.7 All signs, billboards or advertising structures of any kind are prohibited except Developer and contractor signs during construction periods except one professional sign per lot of not more than six (6) square feet to advertise the property for sale during sales period. No sign is permitted to be nailed or attached to trees. No “for sale” sign shall be permitted on the rear of any lot facing the Golf Course.
