Please be reminded that there are specific regulations regarding open fires in residential areas in Shelby County, and particularly within 500 feet of a neighboring house. In addition, all communities in Inverness have covenants prohibiting open fires at ALL times. For additional information, please see the attached regulations provided by Chief Eugene Tyler, North Shelby Fire district.
